Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 31, 2026

Oceanside Construction (“Oceanside Construction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit oceansideconstructionme.com or contact us through it (the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and project details when you submit our contact form or email us
  • Property or job-site information you share so we can scope and estimate a project
  • Any other content in the messages you send us, including questions and feedback

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site that referred you
  • Information stored in or read from cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4

1.3 Information from third parties

  • Publicly available business details when you contact us on behalf of a company
  • Engagement data from the social networks whose feeds are embedded on the Site, if you have consented to those feeds loading

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide estimates, proposals, and project updates
  • To perform construction, renovation, and property management services you have engaged us for
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • To send you information you have asked for about our services
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, spam, security incidents, and other misuse
  • To comply with legal, tax, insurance, licensing, and building-code obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the circumstances below.

3.1 Service providers

We use trusted vendors to run our business — website hosting, email delivery, and spam protection among them. They may process your information only as needed to provide their service to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

3.2 Subcontractors and project partners

When you engage us for work, we may share the details necessary to complete your project with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and inspectors. We share only what the work requires.

3.3 Embedded social media content

The Site embeds feeds from Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube. If you consent to the Marketing cookie category, those networks receive your IP address and may set their own cookies and build a profile of your interests. Under some state privacy laws this can be considered “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of every page, and these feeds do not load at all unless you opt in.

3.4 Legal compliance

We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, to regulators and licensing authorities, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights or the safety of any person.

3.5 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring party, subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy.

3.6 With your consent

We may share your information with other third parties where you have given us permission to do so.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The first time you visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose category by category. Non-essential cookies and third-party scripts are blocked until you opt in. We log the choices you make so we can honor and evidence them, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of every page. The categories we use are:

  • Strictly Necessary — required for the Site to work and stay secure: the website platform (WordPress and Elementor), this cookie consent tool, the contact form, and our spam and login protection. Always active.
  • Functional — optional conveniences and third-party resources that improve how the Site looks and behaves, such as the icon font served from a content delivery network and social sharing buttons. Loads only after you opt in.
  • Marketing — the social media feeds embedded on the Site (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube). Those networks may set their own cookies and profile your interests. Loads only after you opt in, and is covered by the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out.

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other analytics or advertising trackers on this Site. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it, and strictly necessary cookies stay active because the Site cannot function without them.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — including the life of your project plus any period required for warranty, insurance, tax, and licensing recordkeeping — and then securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a portable copy, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to opt out of marketing messages. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within the timeframe applicable law requires and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security

We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration, including TLS encryption for data submitted through the Site. No system is completely secure, however, so please tell us right away if you believe your information has been compromised.

9. Third-Party Links & Changes to This Policy

The Site links to third-party websites and social media profiles that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to read their policies. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; when we make material changes we will revise the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, post a notice on the Site.
